The Town of Varrock is a town that begining Runescape players often venture off to first, after their birth in Lumbridge. Although It would appear that this town would only be full of begining Runescape players(ie. n00bs, nubs or whatever you'd like to call them.), higher leveled and rich players often go here to market their items. On world 1 many merchants gather here to sell and buy items, this usually takes place behind the West Bank, or in the town square. In classic a major gathering point was west of the varrock castle, twas called the rune selling area, and above that was the rare holiday item selling area such as p hats, and others.

Wilderness

The Varrock wilderness is a great place for low leveled pker's to go pking, also it makes a perfect place to learn pking. This area was crowded during Rs Classic, but recent sites that tell noobs not to go in the wildy, have all scared them away.

Mining

Varrock is infamous for its mining areas and smithing. There are several mines scattered throughout the out skirts of Varrock. There are also some anvils to smith bars.

Strength Potions

Or Str pots, are found behind the area by the clothing store near the central area. The cost for a pot is 5 gp a limpwurt root and a red spiders egg. Many players often make a business of selling these potions for 1k each to the pkers in the wilderness, or just in the center market.

Banks

The two banks in Varrock are coined the East bank and the West bank.

Churches

There is a church that not many know about behind the west bank and also one after the Museum on the way to the wilderness.

This store supplies you with your basic Items in Runescape.
